The Canoe Club - Consider the Spring Advantage - Homes Ready Soon!

Moving during the winter months can be difficult and problematic.  Intense weather can delay the builder, the movers and contractors.

If you move in the spring there are some distinct advantages including:

Nice Weather Conditions - Spring is a beautiful time of the year in the Atlanta area.  We have no shortage of gorgeous flowers and flowering trees and bushes.  The grass is green, the weather is warm and the days are long and sunny.

Time to Settle In - When you move in the springtime, there is time to get unpacked and settled in before summer.  Most people have vacations planned in the summer months and moving is a hassle to schedule around moving.  Get the jump on summer and be unpacked and ready to go!

No Air Conditioning or Heat Needed - Most spring days are in the 60's and 70's and no air conditioner or heat is needed.  It is a great time to open the windows and let in the fresh air.

Wrap up the summer concert series with Styx - minutes from your new home at The Canoe Club

According to "The Rolling Stone" magazine and website, Styx is one of the leading exemplars of the FM radio-oriented hard pop known as "pomp rock," Styx also claims the distinction of having been named (in a 1979 Gallup Poll) the most popular rock band among American fans aged 13 to 18. At the height of its commercial powers, Styx released a string of five platinum albums, including the Number One triple-platinum Paradise Theatre (1981).

STYX - Tommy Shaw, James “JY” Young, Lawrence Gowan, Todd Sucherman and Ricky Phillips (along with the occasional surprise appearance by original bassist Chuck Panozzo), have performed more live since ’99 than all of the previous years of its career combined.  Two Super-Bowl appearances, Pollstar Box Office chart-topping tours with Def Leppard, Journey, Boston, REO Speedwagon, Bad Company (to name only a few), two more studio albums and no end in sight, STYX continues to conquer the planet, one venue at a time.

Styx

Spawned from a suburban Chicago basement in the early ‘70s, Styx would eventually transform into the virtual arena rock prototype by the late '70s and early '80s, due to a fondness for big rockers and soaring power ballads.

Fayetteville Ranks in Georgia's Top Ten Best Places to Live -Minutes from your new home at The Canoe Club

Georgia is known for many things: beautiful old houses, a rich history, Southern charm, and, of course, some of the most welcoming and unique cities in the country—we’d be hard pressed to pick out the best.

Luckily for us, we didn’t have to. Instead, the Movoto Real Estate Blog relied solely on the results of our analysis to find the best places in Georgia, so this list is unbiased, data-based, and pretty much indisputable.

A low sales tax, an unemployment rate of just 8.1 percent, and one of the best quality of life scores in the state—Fayetteville seems to have it all. This includes a cost of living that’s on the higher side, but, as the saying goes, you get what you pay for.  This city had a student-teacher ratio of just 15 to 1, a median household income 48 percent higher than the Georgia average, and, considering the city’s relatively small population of just over 16,000, a good amount of amenities, including a beautiful secret garden. Fayetteville really does seem to have it all.

How would you like to live in the Fayetteville area?

Homeowner catches 12 Pound Bass at The Canoe Club - Wouldn't you rather be fishing?

Oh...the days are getting longer, daylight savings time is here ...can summer be far away?  A homeowner at The Canoe Club in Fayetteville recently went fishing and caught a 12 pound Bass...sure sign that warm weather is here to stay for awhile.

Can you imagine spending your free time on the lake?  There is something serene about the ripple of the water, the warm sun and the accidental spray from the boat hitting you while the day seems to go on forever...ahh...summer! Throw in the fact that there really is fish in the lake.... it's heaven for some!

At The Canoe Club they recently started construction on a new dock, wharf and canoe storage for their community.  This means that they are adding to the convenience and amenities in this "one of a kind" community.

If you don't want to spend your day fishing there is plenty else to do in this Master Planned Community with fabulous amenities: The Canoe Club has lake lots available and amenities that are unmatched in the area. The Canoe Club is a Master-Planned community of 350 homesites set on 600 picturesque acres.  Amenities include 2 spectacular freshwater lakes, a 5,500 square foot Nantucket-inspired Lake Cottage overlooking the lakes. The Lake Cottage offers a library, large gathering room, sunroom, catering kitchen and coffee bar.  Activities for homeowners include a fabulous Fitness Center and 4-lane Lap Pool.

If you want to get out in the area then The Canoe Club is ideally located!  As you may have heard,  they are just minutes from the new Pinewood Atlanta Studios and is ideally located near the small town of Downtown Fayetteville just a few miles away with its unique shops and "concert series".  If you love to shop then The Canoe Club is just 7 miles to The Avenue  Peachtree Shop which is filled with a wide array of shops, restaurants and boutiques.Visit Our Photo Gallery
