Active Adult Community Chooses Award-Winning Designers
CANTON – July 25, 2012 – Notable Atlanta designers, Jennifer Crosby and Sandy Moon, have been chosen as the interior decorators for Soleil Laurel Canyon’s new model park. Crosby, principal of Crosby Design Group, and Moon, the owner of Focus Design Interiors, combine their expert design knowledge to properly showcase the eight new homes at Atlanta’s 2011 50+ Community of the Year.
The résumés of the chosen designers prove the strength of the power duo. Crosby has 20 years of interior design experience, with specific expertise in model home décor. Her work has been highlighted in numerous publications including Atlanta City magazine, Atlanta magazine, Design Bureau and Jezebel. Moon’s list of professional honors is also expansive - including an Atlanta Obie Award for Best Interior Merchandising and a National Pillars of Design Industry Award.
According to Crosby, the vision of the new model park is, “to offer uniquely different models that capture the essence of what a beautiful home could be…from finishes to furniture.” With homes ranging from 1,400 to 2,700 square feet, each model in the park is tailored to align with a created marketing persona based on buyer research. Buyers are sure to connect to the model of their own preference with design styles ranging from French country to eclectic to Hollywood regency.
“Yesterday, Zillow announced what we have been feeling for months – that residential real estate is rebounding. Consumers, and specifically baby boomers, are again taking a look at the American dream of home ownership,” said Jay Clark – manager, Active Lifestyle Communities, the owner of Soleil. “We’re looking forward to opening our model park – an experience Atlantans enjoyed during the home-buying heydays in 2006 and 2007. We hope our model park is one of Atlanta’s first in this renaissance.”
The new model park not only offers exquisite design in the interior, but the homes also offer innovative open plan architecture, mature landscaping and mountain ridge views. Located adjacent to the community’s 28,000 square-foot clubhouse, the model park is the perfect complement to the resort lifestyle Soleil delivers.
