COVETED PROFESSIONALISM AWARDS ABOUND FOR JIM CHAPMAN

On a special evening surrounded by peers, all swimming in the deep end of the professional competition pool, Jim Chapman hit the mother lode.

The Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association’s 34th Annual Professional Awards--The Obies--took place Saturday, November 8, 2014. These awards recognize outstanding achievement, marketing, remodeling and personal achievement in the home building industry. Jim Chapman batted a perfect 1,000 as all five of his entries resulted in some serious precious metal designation.

“We could not be more excited with the outcome tonight,” beamed a proud Chapman. “If one is going to receive an award, one recognizing exceptional professionalism is pretty much the creme de la creme. Let me give credit where credit is due, however. I am so fortunate to have all-star teams making up both of our companies, Jim Chapman Fine Homes and Jim Chapman Communities, both winners tonight. My name is on them, but the real recognition goes to these extraordinary professionals who are the heart and soul of these companies. Take Sandy Epstein, for example. She is our on-site sales person at Brookhaven at Johns Creek and received a Gold Obie tonight for Salesperson of the Year -- and that is in the entire 21-county metro area! That’s huge. Sandy exemplifies the talent, dedication, professionalism and success that we are so blessed to have. Congratulations to her and ALL Jim Chapman team members. Without them, we would not be here tonight.”

The Professionalism Awards are segregated into various categories of products, prices, size, annual volume, etc. Jim Chapman Fine Homes scored a GOLD for one of their custom luxury Brownstones at One River Place, for the Single-Family Attached, All Builders category in a price range of $400,000-$499,999.

The list of wins for Jim Chapman Communities is a little more crowded, all coming from products in Brookhaven at Johns Creek, where they took two GOLDS and two SILVERS. Brookhaven at Johns Creek is an Active Adult community of Villa and Single-Family homes from the mid $300s. Aside from critical acclaim, Brookhaven at Johns Creek has also proven popular with buyers. Phase II, featuring 66 lots and only available since late April, is 85% presold.
