Music Midtown Coming Soon - minutes from The View at Virginia Highlands

Music Midtown was held yearly in Atlanta from 1994 until 2005. By 2005, the show spanned three days and had multiple stages with a large variety of musical talent. During the height of Music Midtown's success, the crowds reached 300,000 attendees. After the 2005 festival, it was announced that Music Midtown would be no more. Rising costs were cited as the primary reason. In 2011, it was announced that Music Midtown was being brought back. 

This years event features Jack White and John Mayer will share the spotlight one night, the Zac Brown Band and Eminem the other.That’s the headlining status of Music Midtown 2014, which will take place Sept. 19-20 at Piedmont Park. In addition to announcing the specific day/time lineup, festival producer Live Nation has also added Third Eye Blind and Vic Mensa to the event.This year, only two-day tickets are being sold. The early bird price for general admission is $125 until Sept.  5.
