25th - Summer Reading Program at the Library (7 in the series), “Protecting our Water Resources with FIZZ”, presented by the Rockdale County Water Department, 10:30AM-11:30PM, limited to 50 children, Registration is required, come and get “fizzed” about taking care and preserving our environment and natural resources, especially our valuable water, at the Nancy Guinn Memorial Library, 864 Green St., Meeting Room, for more information call 770-388-5040 

26th -  Thrilling Thursdays at the Library (6 in the series), presents: “Fizz, Boom, Magic” in the Nancy Guinn Memorial Library, 864 Green St., Ken Scott Magic Show will sizzle the stage with tricks, “Croco” the puppet, spellbinding storytelling and hilarious comedy, a lot of audience participation so get ready to take part in the magic, Two shows at 10:30AM and 11:30PM,, for more information call 770-388-5040

28th -   The Sketching Pad, Olde Town Art Studio, 928 Center St., presenting a “Facial Expressions in Comic Characters Workshop”, beginner session is from 10AM-12PM, open to ages 4 through adult, advanced session is 1PM-3PM for ages 10 to adult, tuition is $20 and includes all supplies, to register call 678-787-2552
