SworninHomeAid Atlanta held its annual Installation & Awards Ceremony January 10 at Villa Christina swearing in its new President Sandy Andrew. “It’s an honor for me to accept the role as HomeAid’s President this year.  I look forward to taking on the important task of furthering our mission of building and maintaining dignified housing where homeless individuals and families can rebuild their lives.“

Sandy, Founder and CEO of AtlantaNewHomesDirectory.com, has served on HomeAid’s Board since 2008. “What is so uniquely rewarding is that HomeAid assists housing facilities which provide programs that help families get a “fresh start”. After a short period of time, families with their children go from homeless situations to living normal lives once again.”

CarlridenSince 2001, HomeAid has built 16 housing developments which now serve more than 750 homeless children, women and men in the metro Atlanta area each year.  In addition, they’ve completed over 20 community service projects through the HomeAid Cares program, assisting 10 local agencies with free repairs and improvements to their facilities serving the homeless.  All of this has been accomplished through dedication and generosity of members and supporters donation of construction services and materials as well as their personal time.
