Homebuilder Unites Under Nationally Recognized Brand in All Markets
ATLANTA, GA (June 16, 2016) - Crown Communities announces it is changing its name and will now be branded as D.R. Horton in all markets including Atlanta, Greenville and Augusta following the conversion in the Columbia, SC market earlier this year. As America's largest homebuilder for fourteen years in a row by volume, the strength and recognition of D.R. Horton as "America's Builder" will now be evident with the consistent use of the D.R. Horton logo and website throughout all markets.
Crown Communities began as a small, family-owned, Atlanta-based homebuilder over two decades ago and succeeded in becoming the largest builder in the Atlanta Metro, in addition to having significantly sized operations in surrounding areas throughout the Southeast. In May 2014, Crown Communities was acquired by D.R. Horton and became part of their family of brands. With a shared philosophy of offering quality new homes in desirable locations at the best value, re-branding as D.R. Horton is the next step in developing a cohesive marketing effort.
In addition, Crown's Monarch Series communities will be marketed as Express Homes, a D.R. Horton Company. Express Homes is one of the nation's leading homebuilders for affordable homes with locations in 17 states and 51 markets. These communities will continue to focus on first-time homebuyers, offering both value and the quality you would expect in a newly constructed home.
The transition of Crown Communities in Atlanta, Greenville and Augusta will begin with an online presence, community signage and digital marketing of active and new communities.
