January 2010 - Waterford Homes will be holding a Model Furniture Sale this weekend. The sale will be held at Waterford's Crabapple Station community in Milton, GA.

The Model Furniture Sale will be for two days only. So come out on Saturday, January 30th and Sunday, January 31st to view all the furniture and accessories for sale. Saturday's hours will be from 10am till 4pm and Sunday's hours from 1pm till 4pm.

This sale will include a wide range of furniture and accessories that have been used in Waterford's model homes. The items are of high quality and show little to no usage. Florida developer to buy GM site in Doraville

An Orlando developer has a contract to buy the old General Motors plant in Doraville and plans to build a "clean and green" community of houses, shops, restaurants and offices on the site, the company said Thursday. 

"It could be any mix of uses," New Broad Street spokeswoman Barbara Koenig said Thursday. "Any mix of commercial, retail, residential."

The deal is expected to close in early summer. The purchase price will not be disclosed, Koenig said.

"This is the best urban infill site in the country for a large transit-oriented development," New Broad Street president David Pace said in a statement.  "It will be clean and green, incorporating environmental remediation of the former industrial site with best practices for sustainable development." January 2010 - January 2010 - Dan O'Dwyer, President of O'Dwyer Homes was elected as President for HomeAid Atlanta by the Board of Directors for the 2010 - 2012 terms. HomeAid is the designated charity of the Greater Atlanta Homebuilder's Association and it provides shelters for the temporarily homeless.

 

Dan has been involved with HomeAid Atlanta for several years. In 2006, he generously served as HomeAid's Builder Captain for The Drake House project, renovating 16 apartments for homeless families in Roswell, GA. He later joined HomeAid's Board of Directors in 2009.
